WHAT IS FINE ART?
This is an interesting question with no specific definition due to
the open nature of - art. Perhaps the simplest formula is:
Images, paintings, sketching, water colours etc, that are viewed
by the creator (or market) as being so unique that they warrant social
exposure for visual
pleasure and possible sales. They are produced
to the highest quality
and have some archival attributes to be enjoyed
for many years.

WHAT IS AN OPEN EDITION - PRINT OR CANVAS?
They
are prints, or canvas that are sold with no limit as to the images
future use. This means that the buyer is offered a beautiful high
quality
image at an more affordable price.
Darran has picked some of his favourite images and others that people
have admired for years.
WHAT IS A LIMITED EDITION - PRINT OR CANVAS?
Darran
has hand picked some of his most unique images.
They are so special
that he has decided to add them to his valuable -
Limited Edition
series of Fine Art Photography.
They
are prints or canvas that are sold to a specific limited number.
They
are individually numbered (1/20). They will not be produced again
on
the same medium or to that same size.
QUALITY
As
with all Darran Leal Fine Art images, they are printed on the most up
to date archival medium. That is - it will last a 'lifetime'.*
We use Epson printers as they offer the most realistic
results to those
seen at the time of shooting or on Darran's creative
screen. This guarantees
you a valuable asset that you can enjoy for many years and that in time,
may grow in value.
COLOUR
Please
note that colour will vary from screen to screen. Darran uses the
latest equipment, archival materials and techniques. Your special
prints
will be supplied to the highest standard possible.
* 'Lifetime', represents the life of the print stored in optimum conditions.
That is, sealed and out of direct sunlight or heat. In these conditions,
you can expect over 100 years from your beautiful piece of Fine Art
Photography.
